Reebok The Pump

The white / orange / blue colourway of these Reebok the Pump released in Australia in about 1993, at a time when the media was right up on kids getting rolled for their expensive sneakers and (Starter) jackets. These puppies retailed in Australia for AUD399 - almost 2x the most expensive sneakers at the time. They were rocked heavily by the Sydney Kings, at about the same time I used to attend basketball camps run by the Kings, including Steve Carfino and coach Bob Turner. While they are a nice clean colourway, and make me reminisce of time of old, they are way too high for me to rock myself now. If you're into them, they will be available in limited numbers in coming months as part of Reebok's 20th anniversary of The Pump.
