News via Sole Collector is that Dwyane Wade has jumped from Converse to Jordan Brand. While a lot of the commentary online is this is the endorsement departure since Kobe Bryant left adidas to - after a year of 'sneaker free-agency' - sign with Nike, is this really big news? After all, both Converse and Jordan Brand are business units of Nike. Still, I've hated Wade's signature Converse sneakers, and thought idea of him lacing up a pair of Carmine Air Jordan VIs is something I like.
