Nike Air Max Lebron VII - white / black / turquoise colourway

Admittedly, I didn't like the Nike Air Max Lebron VII when they first released. My feeling was they borrowed too heavily from earlier signature lines of both Vince Carter and Tim Duncan. It's amazing then what switching up the colourway and a few materials can do for an opinion. This white / black / turquoise colourway features a woven upper instead of the flywire adorning earlier releases. While they're still not for me, they are definitely an improvement on the colourways we've seen to date, and have me on the other side of the fence now.

Nike Air Max Classic BW - black / white / neon orange

What can I say? JD Sports continues to kill it with their exclusive colourways, recently dropping another Nike Air Max Classic BW in a black / white / neon orange. From JD Sports -

The Nike Air Max Classic BW, or 'Big Window', was first introduced in 1991, its distinctive style was so popular that they've decided to bring it back! This men's re-issue is exclusive to JD and comes in a synthetic and mesh mix upper with contrast neon orange accents. There's also an embroidered Nike brand logo on the tongue and rubberised Swoosh and 'Nike Air' logos on the side and back plus the classic visible air unit in the sole.

Reebok The Pump

The white / orange / blue colourway of these Reebok the Pump released in Australia in about 1993, at a time when the media was right up on kids getting rolled for their expensive sneakers and (Starter) jackets. These puppies retailed in Australia for AUD399 - almost 2x the most expensive sneakers at the time. They were rocked heavily by the Sydney Kings, at about the same time I used to attend basketball camps run by the Kings, including Steve Carfino and coach Bob Turner. While they are a nice clean colourway, and make me reminisce of time of old, they are way too high for me to rock myself now. If you're into them, they will be available in limited numbers in coming months as part of Reebok's 20th anniversary of The Pump.

Air Jordan VI Retro - white / varsity red / black

2010 is shaping up to be a pretty impressive year for retro Nike releases. These white / varsity red / black Air Jordan 6s aren't too far from the original release specs, with the exception of the infrared being replaced by a duller varsity red. Should be available for pre-sale from OSneaker soon, and following that are apparently a limited US only release.

Nike Blazer SB Quickstrike - Dexter Blood Splatter

As a big fan of the TV show Dexter, it was cool to see this Nike Blazer SB Quickstrike - Dexter Blood Splatter - release previewed on HUF's site today. Available from HUF now.

Nike Air Max ST - white / grey / orange / purple

This white / grey / orange / purple Nike Air Max ST was added to Opium's news section recently. No word yet on when / where these will be released, but it's nice to see some more clean colourways of the Air Max ST coming out.

Nike Air 180 - white / black / lemon yellow

The Nike Air Max 180 has been released sparingly since it's first retro release in late 2005. 2010 will see at least one more release, with this white / black / lemon yellow expected in the northern Spring.

Nike Air Max 90 - Dizzee Rascall - Chillin Wiv Dam Man video

Nike Air Max 90 - black / anthracite

Part of Nike's rivals pack, these black / anthracite Nike Air Max 90s have just released at selected retailers in the US. The simple colourway is set off with a mix of materials including a mesh toe box, and contrasting white laces. We'll be getting the earlier released white / white / varsity maize colourway in next week, and will be trying to get these in too.
