Nike Air Max Light - white / metallic gold / black

As a fan of the Air Max Light, I was pretty excited to see them re-released for the first time mid-2007. Unfortunately in the almost two years since, we still haven't seen a lot of decent colourways, and those that have come out have largely been restricted to the UK through JD Sports, or at best to Europe. One wonders whether this will be the case again for this simple white / metallic gold / black colourway which just dropped at Purchaze. Let's hope not...

Air Jordan 12 - black / white / university blue

Foot Locker has released what is the first re-release of a retro colourway in the Air Jordan Retro 12. This black / white / university blue colourway was originally released in the US in November 2003, as part of a USD200 pack. The 2009 re-release comes just like they used to; a pair of shoes in a box, which is a pleasent change from the numerous packs we've seen released by Nike through Jordan Brand in the past years.

Nike Air Zoom Soldier III (Lebron) - white / navy blue

I already professed my love of the Nike Zoom Soldier III after seeing the black / white / red colourway. Seeing this navy blue / white colourway leaves me with no feeling of uncertainty that I need these two colourways at a minimum.

Nike Air Structure Triax - Livestrong

Last week we posted the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 180 from the Livestrong pack. A fourth show from the series has popped up on eBay, although it doesn't look like this one made it past the sample stage. The above black / yellow / white Nike Air Structure could possibly have been the strongest of the pack.

If you're a lucky size 9, you can cop these on eBay here, although they are already at USD355 with more than a day left to run on the auction.

Air Jordan 5 Toro Bravo / Raging Bull pack

If you missed out on the Air Jordan 5 Toro Bravo / Raging Bull pack when they dropped in selected Australian Foot Locker stores last weekend, fear not. They've dropped on Eastbay today, and there are still pairs available in all sizes... something which is a little unusual for more sought after releases on Eastbay which usually sell out within hours.

Reebok Commitment Mid

With my interest in basketball starting in the late eighties and early nineties, it was sneakers like this you would most often see on the feet of NBA players. While Reebok has re-released quite a few of their older sneakers - they haven't done a lot with their baskbetball range other than a few Pumps. The Commitment Mid, originally released by Reebok in 1989, has now seen its first retro release this year, and is available now in Australia in the above colourway from Foot Locker.

Nike Air Classic BW - white / grey / red

This Nike Air Classic BW, due for release in the UK later this year, is *almost* one of my grails. Replace the red on the midsole with grey, and these are pretty much true to one of the BW releases from around 1992; a colourway I owned back in high school around the same time. I've have been fiending for this colourway to be released again since trading my original pair away along with a pair of Nike Air Maestros for a pair of All Star Jordan VIIIs... one of my great regrets in life.

Nike Air Max ST - white / black / red sample on eBay

This sample white / black / red colourway of the Nike Air Max ST appeared on eBay this week from France based seller ultraman92. While not a bad colourway, it would be good to see a few of the original colourways releasing before Nike goes too crazy with new colourways. No word yet though whether this colourway will be released. If I was a sample size, I'd be tempted to snap these up...

Nike Air Trainer III - white / grey / orange

The Nike Air Trainer III has slowly grown on me over the years since it was first re-released. This colourway is probably a bit too much on the white side, but nice none the less. No word yet on availability.

Nike Air Max 90 - white / black / neutral grey

If it weren't for the use of honeycomb mesh - which I prefer to call hex-mesh - on the toe box and around the heel, this would be a nice clean Air Max 90. This white / black / neutral grey colourway is available now from JD Sports

Nike Air Classic BW - black / sport red / grey

Nike just keeps coming with the Air Classic BWs, although yet again a nice colourway has been released exclusively through JD Sports in the UK. Luckily for us in Australia, the British Pound is lower than it's been in years against the Australian Dollar, so these aren't quite as unobtainable as they might have been in the past... providing you have a connection in the UK to pick them up for you.

Nike Air Flight Condor - black / royal blue / white

We placed an order for these black / royal blue / white Nike Air Flight Condors today, and should have them in within a couple of weeks. The patent boarder around the lace strap is nice and subtle, setting off a colourway which is already made better by the use of both leather and nubuck on the upper.

A slight twist to the original with charcoal panels, this Air Jordan 7 Retro is part of the 60+ pack due for release this August. Also in the pack is an Orlando Magic inspired colourway.

Livestrong x Nike Sportswear Air Max Collection

Nike Sportswear is set to release a Air Max 90, Air Max 1, and Air Max 180 in selected US stores next week as part of their Livestrong collection. It's good to see some Air Max 180s released again as they seem to have been left on the shelf for almost a year now while Nike has focused on releasing an abundance of other Air Max.

Nike Zoom FC

It's been a while since we've seen a Nike Zoom FC from Nike's SB range, but it appears a couple are scheduled for a release in the near future. This green / white colourway is reminiscent of the Noodles which came out a few years back. The Nike Zoom FC is one of my favourite lines from Nike SB and it's good to see them back.
