Jordan 6 Rings - Air Jordan 1 Phat Low - Utah Jazz
Nike has just released the next in their 6 Rings series of Jordans - this one in a Utah Jazz inspired colourway. As with the other 6 Rings releases, there is an accompanying pair of Air Jordan 1 Phat Lows. Both are available now at Eastbay.
Air Jordan 1 Retro Hare Jordan
At first glance I thought this was going to be just another Air Jordan 1 release. After seeing these shots though I've definitely changed my mind and am really looking forward to seeing these. As well as borrowing their colourway from the Air Jordan VII 'Hare', so are some other nice features including the neoprene tongue with breath holes.

Reebok Omni Lite - Dee Brown
These Omni Lite's from Reebok were released in November 2008, so this isn't new news, however this pic from http://extrabutterny.com is the first time I've seen the Dee Brown innersole. The colourway was basically a reversal of the original black / white / orange, and was limited to 1991 pairs. Dee Brown gave the Omni Lite a lot of exposure during the 1991 dunk comp when he paused to pump up his shoes before a dunk. The shot on the innersole is taken from his final round 'no look' dunk. While this was a great dunk contest, I still think Shawn Kemp should have beaten Dee Brown. Back in high school I could do Dee Brown's no-look dunk myself, so have never found it that impressive. Air Max 1 x Trainer 1 / Air Force 180 x Blazer ?
Some new and interesting catalogue shots from Nike appeared on chajinyoung.com earlier this week, confirming that Nike is not going stop releasing hybrids any time soon. First up is a Nike Air Max 1 x Air Trainer 1, followed by a Nike Force 180, Nike Flight Lite High, and Nike Air Delta Force High all with what looks like a Blazer sole. Can't say I'm impressed with any of them...

It seems at some stage throughout every year some gimp on a sneaker forum will undoubtedly ask what sneakers / Jordans they should wear to their prom / high school formal. Another JD Sports exclusive - Nike Air Classic BW - white / black / blue saphire
JD is killing it at the moment with their exclusive releases. This is yet another great Nike Air Max Classic BW colourway which they've got a monopoly on. I think the only thing needed on this one to make it perfect is the use of the original tongue material rather than embroided mesh
In their words... First introduced in 1991 the Air Max Classic BW from Nike features a visible Max Air in the heel for great cushioning. Now re-issued exclusively for JD in a clean soft leather upper with black and blue accents, perforated heel detail and the much loved mesh panels and toebox, plus an embroidered Nike logo on the tongue.

JD Sports just keep on coming with the exclusive releases which aren't shipped out of the UK. If only Footlocker Australia had the same buying power and relationship with Nike! from JD Sports - Worn by a number of Pro tennis players including John McEnroe and last being reissued in 2002, the Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid is being re-released again in this retro White/Grey/Black/Blue colourway. The lightweight and comfortable design of this great style made it work across a number of sports by keeping the ankle from rolling plus the velcro strap across the forefoot keeps your foot locked in and comfortable! air max 95 - fresh water
there was a time when i loved air max 95s and they were about all i wore. it's probably been close to 10 years now since a pair regularly graced my feet. my interest faded as the colourways released ventured further and further away from the originals. this white / black / fresh water blue colourway coming soon to footlocker is a return to those simple original colourways, and may convince me to reignite my relationship with the 95...

quannum x reebok sneaker collection
earlier this year www.werd2.com posted the dj shadow x reebok collaboration. quannum, blackalicious, and latyrx releases have also just dropped, and are available from www.djshadow.com. i'm really not a fan of reebok, and am not feeling any of these colourways.
